Bullying Behaviours Checklist

I’d just like to remind readers about HR. HR is paid to get rid of complaining workers. Never think for a moment that they are neutral. They have no ethics. They are always 10 steps ahead of you. Going to HR should be the last resort & the worker should have his/her union rep when holding meeting with HR. If you meet with HR alone, they’ll make minced meat of you. Beware! I’m speaking from experience!

I have a chronic depressive disorder and major PTSD from bullying at work, I am now considered totally and permanently incapacitated after being bullied by a charitable organisation. HR colluded with management and I was sacked and given no reason why. WorkCover in NSW gave my case to a private insurance company who declined my claim and refused to give any reason why. Centrelink refused to give me a benefit, they refused to believe the two treating doctors reports, one from a psychiatrist. One has to ask why these organisations are willing to flout the law in order to victimise me further. It all started when I witnessed a gay nurse being bullied at work and even though management threatened my job if I put what I witnessed into writing, I put it all in a stat declaration and there was a ministerial enquiry and cover up. Since then... you know the rest of the story.

Anonymous, HR is management or extension of management! Did you go for unfair dismissal? My heart goes out to you.

I’m off work now, suffering from anxiety & depression as a result of workplace bullying. I lodge WorkCover claim & now they are trying their utmost to reject their claim.

I am unable to look for other employment because of my bad health. I don’t know how to survive if my claim is rejected.

Hi Anonymous October 23rd.
This behaviour is so typical of worksafe when it comes to submitting a bullying claim.
They (Worksafe)pretend that they care about workplace bullying yet they reject many of the claims made and fight it until the worker can no longer take it, so we know exactly what you are experiancing. Dont give up, hang in there and keep the fight happening...at some point one of us has to win and be able to stop this from continuing. Cheers wcv's
