Recently, I spoke to Mr Holdings Office regarding the 5000 workers who
were left out of Mr Bracks changes. I asked, why these injured workers were
not included and I was told it was because the Government couldn't afford it !
Then, I see that worksafe is sponsoring the country football league and their
Barristers legal bill ( to fight the injured workers in the courts) was $38 million,
so my question is, if they can afford to pump all of this money into wasted
advertising and to discriminate against these 5000 injured workers by using
Barristers to fight them in court then, they can afford to include the 5000
injured workers who have not received their rightful entitlements.
Also its interesting how the Police Union enabled their injured workers to
obtain compensation when all the others injured during the same period
have been denied their lawful right to protection whilst at work!
When will this double sidedness stop and all injured workers treated
equally as the law interprets?
Who is going to stand up and make the necessary changes and make Kennett
accountable for his incompetency, lies and manipulation of our accident
compensation act and entitlements?
Where are the pollies?
Why haven't they said, this is not OK?
Why aren't they doing their jobs?
