“WORKCOVER VICTIMS” - EXPRESSION OF OPINION

As you are all aware this blog has been operating for sometime now and it
has a well established following. We have also endeavoured to provide sensible
and reliable information to the injured workers of Victoria.

During the blog page and group developmental stage, WorkCover Victims
had developed a program which was to be implemented in 2009.

As a result of this program Workcover Victims was recently in talks regarding
a uniting of forces to develop an Injured Workers Association in Victoria, but
due to some unethical practices experienced during the pre-establishment
phase of this new association, Workcover Victims has decided not to complete
this new alliance, which is to be now called the WORKPLACE INJURY

ASSISTANCE INC or (WIAI)

Workcover Victims opinion of this new association WORKPLACE INJURY

ASSISTANCE INC is, that it is inexperienced and unqualified and should be
seen for what it is, an association formed to benefit the case of a single
injured worker.

The WORKPLACE INJURY ASSISTANCE INC. has shown WorkCover

Victims nothing but a total disregard for the legislation, a lack of integrity,
honesty and plenty of inexperience with the current legislation.

In our opinion we dont beleive they are able to provide a quality service
due to their lack of experiance and qualifications and we are guessing that
time will tell.

Workcover Victims opinion is that the WORKPLACE INJURY ASSISTANCE

INC will not be seen as credible because they have no legislation experience,
so how are they going to be able to support injured workers and their rights.
Injured workers will only be given the run around by this group just like,
they experience from Worksafe.

Injured Workers should all be aware of the fact that you are entitled to the
best advice you can get when injured at work, so make sure any of your agents,
providers and support or assistance groups are at least able, to decipher the
legislation!

In our opinion this is a good one to stay clear of.
