Injured Worker Case 3

Man claims stress injury.

Man claims workplace bullying has caused a stress injury.
He goes off work and seeks medical advice and treatment.
Workcover refuses/denies weekly payments yet the act states he is protected by workcover no matter who is to blame for the injury.
Court proceedings take 2 years and the injured worker has no income during this time
No return to work was offered and the employers asked for his resignation.
Complaints were made to workcover and ignored.
This man has also had his files and personal information statue barred and workcover refuses to help with his concerns and the loss of his job due to making a workcover claim.
The act is supposed to protect this worker against loosing his job or being discriminated against for making a claim yet that is what has happened to him. Why Mr Holding?
Because he made a claim for stress that's why? Workcover allowed the employers to sack this worker due to the type of claim he made. He has been unable to obtain further employment due to the actions of his previous employer and nothing has been done about it by workcover.

This man is also suffering further due to Mr Bracks not reversing the legislation right back to when Mr Kennett changed it. It is obvious that this leglislation is not working.
