Relief for bosses on sacking laws after Labor delay

WORKPLACE Relations Minister Bill Shorten will today offer limited relief to business by announcing changes to the nation's unfair dismissal laws but more significant industrial relations reforms are likely to be delayed until next year.
At a meeting of the National Workplace Relations Consultative Council in Melbourne today, Mr Shorten will announce that the government will initially implement only those changes recommended by the Fair Work Act review panel backed by unions and employers.
